Logging in just now, I could not understand (for a while) why the only enquiries i could see were 'Area Too Large' ones ...until i recalled that several days ago, i set the filter accordingly. As i do not log into SWX regularly ...and as i do not always adjust the Filter settings, its a trap for 'unwary (irregular) users'.
PS: i only just twigged the meaning of the red dot on the Filter symbol ...good, but for the adhoc user, it's arguably not obvious enough that its set ..perhaps give users the option to save filter settings?.....
Hi Greg, thanks for submitting your feedback via the Ideas portal. I have discussed this with our design team. We plan to increase the visibility of applied filters, so that users understand when filters might be affecting their search results. This approach is preferred over resetting the filters after each session, because we have also received user feedback requesting that filters be sticky (the current behaviour) as our default filters do not suit all users. This improvement will be available as part of an upcoming release.
